Spring is here!!! (Not that you can tell with all this chilly weather.) And it is time to update your dark sultry colors from winter to the bright popping colors of Spring! Now you may be going "I don't have the funds to buy amazing make-up all the time." Well here at cottonwood we understand that. So I took some time and talked to my favorite esthetician RACHEL who told me if you can't spend money on all sorts of good make-up you should start by focusing on these 2 main items. GOOD FOUNDATION: We all know that a clean pallet is the best place for an artist to start. But there is more to it than just the exterior beauty. Good foundation is made of different minerals that stay on longer and also doesn't clog your pores, which is better for the health of your skin. GOOD EYELINER: Lately I've been seeing all sorts of magazines coming out with new ways to accentuate the eye and it's always with a dark bold eyeliner. The reason it's a good idea to splurge on a liner is because you don't want something that will bleed into the eye or smudge after your beautiful strokes have been perfectly placed.

Massages are a luxury some of us do not have the ability to partake in (Unfortunately.) But the pain/aches don't go away simply because we don't have the time. So, what do you do in the meanwhile? Two great tips that my massage therapist Haylee shared with me were...

1.)Placing your hand on your shoulder and roll your neck side to side, while applying pressure. As well as..

2.) Taking your pointer finger and thumb and squeezing the fleshy area between the thumb and pointer finger of the other hand.
